Hello all - Hope your break was relaxxxxing and refreshing!
This 5K run/walk is scheduled for Feb. 25th at RVHS. As we did for the 'Turkey Trot', YCTA is forming a team for this event. Please let me know if you'd like to be a part of the YCTA team. I know some of you may coordinate teams at your sites, or with groups of friends/family. :-) YCTA will be sponsoring the event, and we'd love to have a large group to run/walk together to show our support! (We had great fun at the 'Turkey Trot' with team members and their families participating. Some were going for their personal best in a 5K...others were happy to walk and enjoy the exercise, beautiful weather, community involvement and camaraderie.)
Last year the Yuba City Education Foundation raised over $15,000 to assist students in their learning environments. WOW! We are happy to be a part of supporting our students! Please email me if you are interested in joining the YCTA team of runners/walkers! Jill
Entry fee: Adults: $20 ($25 after 2/11/12) Children (14 and under) $10 ($15 after 2/11/12)

Thanks for all the responses! Here's more info:
• If you are a part of our team, or another team, individual registration is reduced from $20 to $18, and kids are still $10. (If you need a team reg. form, email me and I can send you one.)
• Those of you that have decided to, or are thinking about joining the YCTA team, please email me and interoffice your check to me at AK by 1/28. Make the check payable to YCEF. I will submit our team registration.
• YCTA will have a table set up prior, during and after the run/walk. We can meet there, and run/walk as a team, or we'll see you along the way!
